Cruise ships are more than transportation. They are temporary homes and workplaces for thousands of crew members who spend months serving far from their families and communities.
Cruise Mission is exploring responsible ways for travelers, churches, and ministry partners to offer practical encouragement and ongoing prayer for the people who serve at sea.
Pray
Help individuals, families, and churches pray intentionally for the crew of a particular ship or sailing season.
Care
Explore crew-informed care packages containing useful personal items, distributed through trusted and appropriately authorized ministry partners.
Connect
Offer crew members a private, voluntary, multilingual way to request prayer and receive encouragement while away from home.

Crew Care begins with humility.
This initiative is in its exploratory stage. We are listening to port ministries, maritime chaplains, crew-welfare professionals, cruise-industry partners, and current and former crew members.
Our goal is not to duplicate existing ministries or assume what crew members need. We hope to connect caring travelers with trusted organizations and help extend work already being done.

Already serving a community near a cruise port? We want to listen. CruiseMission is looking for trusted ministries, churches, schools, children’s homes, and community organizations with well-defined projects that a small team can advance in one purposeful day.
Already serving cruise or maritime crews?
We would value the opportunity to learn from port ministries, maritime chaplains, crew-welfare organizations, and current or former crew members. We are especially interested in genuine crew needs, appropriate distribution practices, port and ship requirements, pastoral-care safeguards, and ways travelers can support—not duplicate—the work already being done.

A heart for ministry.
Cruise Mission was founded by Jon Graham, a travel advisor, worship pastor, and longtime missions storyteller.
For 19 years, Jon has served as a videographer for a large faith-based nonprofit organization, helping document the work of churches, missionaries, and ministry partners. His experience in travel and ministry led to a simple question: What if cruise travelers could use part of their journey to serve others with humility, preparation, and lasting purpose?
Cruise Mission is currently being developed through prayer, research, and conversations with experienced local and maritime ministry leaders.
